This class will consist of a 2 day 16 hour workshop where you will have the opportunity to learn the design skills on how to create and re-create different hair and make-up designs specifically for the stage.
Daniel Koye , a celebrity hair and make-up Designer will guide you step by step on how to design specific characters for each show. Here you will receive your own hair and make-up kit and will be guided by a professional.
Skills you will learn:
Face charts,
character make-up,
basic stage make-up,
hair,
wigs,
facial hair,
prosthetics,
historical hair styles,
costumes,
and including the different entities of putting a broadway show together.
In this workshop you will be taught the different facets of bringing a broadway show to life. You will naviagte through your new hair and make-up kit. You will then learn some of the basic historical hair styles and how to do basic stage make-up. Then you will learn aging techniques and learn skills on prosthetic applications.
Throughout the workshop, you will create a character design.
